How ACTION FIGURE CABINETS was started:

The year was 2003.  I had just gotten married and my wife and I bought our first house in upstate NY.  We encountered a problem. The second bedroom closet was filled with boxes of vintage Star Wars figures, ships and playsets!

– Fast forward two more years:

My first son was going to be born and the closet in his bedroom was STILL full of  STAR WARS Collectibles!

After searching online for something worthy to display the contents of these boxes full of my STAR WARS collection there was absolutely nothing out there that could be purchased besides generic shelving units and ikea display cases.

This is when I decided to design my own display cabinets!

In 2005 i started sketching some concepts that would change the way the world would display there ACTION FUGURE collections forever!

My very first design would need to fit my 3-3/4”  inch complete vintage collection displaying 110 figures.
Next came my giant 5’ wide x 7’ tall x 2’ deep ship and playset cabinet.

After I built that and saw how beautiful it came out, I decided I needed to start selling these cabinets for others to get their amazing collectibles out and free from their closets and or cheap shelving units.

In 2005 Action figure Cabinets was launched just before my first son and in time to clear out that closet !
